Valentine's Day 2015

What started out as a rocky weekend, turned out to be one of the best ones we have had in a long time!  Sawyer woke up in the middle of the night Thursday with the devil of a stomach bug that had been going around, so Barry and I cancelled our Friday night first-time-in-months-date-night-dinner-plans so we didn't subject anyone else to the germs.  Fortunately, she woke up feeling back to normal Saturday.  We decided to spend the day at Blessington Farms so we could breathe some fresh air and get out of the germy house!  BJ, Kasey & Olsen joined us and the kids had a great time picking strawberries, petting animals, sliding and riding the barrel train.

Our Valentine's Day ended with church and a romantic family dinner at Rudy's BBQ.  Such a fun day.  The next day we decided to make the short drive down to the coast and spend the day at the beach.  I love the beach.  Like really love it.  Year round.  It was pretty chilly, but we had a really nice, relaxing day - when we weren't keeping Ty from crawling out into the waves and eating all.the.sand.  It was also Lori's first time at the beach and she was just having the time of her life.
