Ty's Baby Shower

When I married Barry, I felt like I was getting a pretty good deal…great guy, great family, great friends… what I didn't know I was getting was my own great group of friends.  Part of the package included the wives of his family and friends who are now some of my closest friends.  They offered to throw a baby shower for us, which I was totally surprised by and thankful for since this is our second baby.  The shower was last weekend and it was so wonderful!  

The decor was so cute, the food was delicious and the company was even better.  They put together an outdoor/animal/woods themed shower.

We got there a little early, so Sawyer and Olsen enjoyed some pre party Disney Jr. and play time.  She thinks he is just the greatest.  She also thinks, for some reason that it is Olsen's birthday most days.  Almost every day she goes through a roll call of all of her cousins and asks me where they all are.

After we enjoyed some wonderful food, it was time for presents!  We didn't need much since most of our bigger baby stuff is pretty neutral, but I am thankful Ty will not have to use pink pacifiers and bath towels.  

Sawyer was most interested in this "pie" holder.

I think we are pretty much set and ready for his arrival any day now…  Then it was time for desserts.  Sawyer skipped out on eating lunch because she was apparently saving room for all the icing and smore marshmallows she would eat.

It was such a great afternoon and I continue to be amazed by the generosity and support of all of our friends and family…Ty is going to be one loved on and spoiled little boy!
